First Public Seminar by E-Sports Agency Draws Attention
On January 11, 2025, ARETE Agency (now VIRO AGENCY) announced it hosted the “VALORANT Pro Gamer Debut & Legal Strategy Seminar” in collaboration with Changkyung Law Firm. This seminar gained attention as the first public seminar hosted by an e-sports agency.
The seminar featured ARETE Agency CEO Jung Hong-kyo, ARETE Esports Academy Head Coach Yeh Sang-jun, and Changkyung Law Firm’s representative attorney Son Seung-hyun as speakers. Approximately 40 aspiring players and their parents attended, showing significant interest.

The seminar covered the entire process from the growth journey to becoming a professional gamer through post-debut career management. Head Coach Yeh Sang-jun explained efficient practice methods and preparation processes, while CEO Jung Hong-kyo introduced the role of e-sports agencies and player support systems.
Attorney Son Seung-hyun particularly drew positive responses from attendees by specifically explaining contract and legal issues that arise in the e-sports industry, while presenting practical solutions that players should be aware of.
